For this Wild West party ask your guests to come dressed in their cowboy gear, flannel shirts, jeans and a bandana. Have a few extra items on hand incase someone doesn't own a flannel shirt or bandana.

Wild West Invitations

Roll up the bandana and tie it with twine. Before finishing the knot put a small tag on it that contains the party information.

Cut out some sheriff badges from cardboard and place the party information on the back side. Decorate the front.

Wild West Decorations

Make a teepee using poles and an old blanket or two. You can probably get by with stringing a rope between two trees and making a tent!

Use bales of straw for seating.

Cast iron pans and blue enameled camping gear add a special touch. You might even find the enamel ware in other colors!

Hang wanted poster throughout the cake area. Place a fake cactus or two in the corners of the room.

Our party store has some really fun Western themed party supplies.

Check our Western decorations such as Wanted Posters, cutouts and tableware too.

Wild West Activities

Tell a story around a campfire. Set up a fake campfire ring if your city doesn't allow campfires.

Sing cowboy songs and play country music in the background.

Lasso A Horse:
Decorate a chair by covering the tall section and the seat area with a piece of brown fabric. You can make a horse head out of a paper grocery bag and attach it to the chair back.

Shooting practice:
Line up a row of candles, arm your guest with a squirt gun and see how many candles they can shoot out.

Wild West Party Favors

Bandannas, cowboy hats, sunglasses, boot shaped mugs, coloring books, small toy horses and stickers all make great party favors.

Wild West Food and Drinks

Serve drinks from mason jars. The kids will get a kick out of it.

Roast Hot Dogs over an open fire.

Serve chili and corn on the cob.

Provide each child with a mess kit or use blue enamel serving dishes.
