Thanksgiving Appetizers

Try these easy Thanksgiving recipes at your holiday gathering.


These Thanksgiving appetizers can be prepared a day or two before Thanksgiving. Preparing food ahead of time will allow you more time to spend with family and friends.

Cheese Ball

Ingredients:
2 packages cream cheese (8oz size) softened
4 ounces chipped dried beef
Garlic salt, just a dash
1 small onion, minced
Worcestershire sauce, just a dash
Crackers

Directions:

Mix cream cheese, half the dried beef, garlic salt, onions and Worcestershire sauce in a medium mixing bowl.

Form mixture into one large or two smaller balls.

Refrigerate for an hour. Roll the ball(s) in the remaining dried beef.

Serve with crackers.

Holiday Oyster Crackers

Ingredients:
1 package of dry mix ranch dressing
¾ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon dill weed
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
16 ounces oyster crackers

Directions:

Combine ranch dressing mix and the olive oil. Add dill weed, garlic powder, and the lemon peper.

Pour mixture over oyster crackers and stir well to coat.

Place in warm over for 20 minutes, stirring half way through.

If there is any left over, store in an airtight container.
