Sponge Bob Birthday Party Activities:

Sponge Toss
Supplies needed: Large piece of cardboard, yellow household sponges, markers, scissors, yellow paint.
Take a rectangle of heavy carboard and paint it yellow. Draw eyes and a nose on it. For the mouth you want to cut out a large half-moon shape large enough for the sponges to fit through.

Lean against the wall or hang from a doorway.
Give the guest two sponges per turn to toss through the mouth. Play until someone gets either five or ten points.

Outdoor Sponge Game
Supplies needed: child's wading pool, sponges, three pans of various sized, water.
Put the three pans into the wading pool, make sure to space them out with one in the center and the other two various lengths from the edge of the pool. Fill pool and pots with water.
Each guest stands 5' or so from the pool and has to try and toss the sponges into the pans. The small pan can be worth 15 points, the medium pan 10 points and the large pan 1 point.
The guest who reaches 50 first wins.

Sponge Bob Birthday Party Party Favors:

A fun party favor would be a set of beach toys. You can usually find a bucket set complete with shovels and other toys at your local dollar store.

Purchase inexpensive Spongebob character stuffed toys or figurines and give those to the guests.

You could also give out gift cards to your local movie theatres and movie rental stores.

Sponge Bob Birthday Party Food and Drinks:

Make a rectangular cake and frost it with yellow frosting. When frosting it, make swirls in the frosting to look like holes in a sponge. For the eyes use two Oreo type cookies, twirl them apart and place the sides with the most icing near the top of the rectangle to form the eyes. Draw the mouth and nose using gel or licorice.

While this isn't a Sponge-Bob cake, it would be perfect for a Sponge Bob Birthday Party.
