Just for kicks have a Soccer Party
Kids' Internet Treasure Hunt
A soccer party is great for a birthday party or for at the end of the season.
Have a soccer party for your childs birthday party, but don't let this happen:

Actually the tree fell down because the ground was saturated by rain. The soccer ball just happened to be in the photo and made a cute picture. No one in our family can kick the ball that hard!
Soccer Party Invitations:
Invitations to this birthday party can be easily made with some paper, black markers and scissors.
Fold a piece of white poster board in half. Use a coffee cup to trace a circle onto the paper making sure to put the circle so that it sits a little bit above the fold. When you cut out the circles they will open up from the hinged side. Draw a soccer ball design on the front of each circle.
Send a "yellow card" invite. Cut out rectangular shapes from yellow poster board. One one side write the party information on the other side write something like: "Warning a good time is going to be had...". (yellow cards are flashed at the players to warn them of misdeeds on the field, older kids will get a kick out of getting a yellow card!)
Some other cute sayings are:
A Party just for Kicks
The Game is On, join us for Jons' Party.
Another cute party invitation would be to take an inflatable soccer ball, inflate it and write the party information onto it using a black permanent marker. Let the ink dry and then deflate the ball. Send one to each guest.
Soccer Party Decorations:
Dress up as a referee for the Soccer Party. Keep a yellow card and a red card in your pocket. You can flash these at the kids if things start getting a little out of hand!
White and black balloons can be hung on any surface. Group three balloons together to form a bunch and tape to the walls. Hang some black and white streamers from each bunch to really fill up blank wall space.
Use soccer ball cut-outs throughout the Soccer Party area. Make your own using poster board. Use plates and cups to draw the circles, color them in using poster paints or markers and then cut them out and tape to the walls and door.
If you are having trouble finding a soccer ball tablecloth, just buy a white one and decorate it with soccer stickers.
My daughter will probably sue me when she sees this picture in here!
Take a picture of your child in his/her soccer uniform and have it enlarged into a life size poster. There are also companies that can take a picture and turn it into a life sized cardboard figure.
If your budget allows you might rent an indoor soccer field and hold your Soccer Party there instead of at home. You would only need to provide a cake and the tableware.
Hang posters of soccer players and soccer teams on the walls of the party room.
Soccer Kit includes everything you need for a party with eight guests. You can add more items if needed.
Soccer Party Activities:
A soccer game could be played at your Soccer Party, but if you don't have the room or if the yard is muddy from recent rains, you can get by without an actual game. Here are some fun activities that can also be played:
Guess how many:
Supplies needed: A clear glass jar and some baby food jars, soccer ball candies, paper and pencils.
Fill the glass jar with the soccer ball candy making sure you keep a count of how many pieces you put into the jar. Each guest will be given a piece of paper to write down their guess as to how many pieces are in the jar. The person closest to the actual count without going over wins the jar. All other guests will get the baby food jars filled with the same candy.
Indoor Goal Shooting:
A fun Soccer Party game that can be played indoors. You will need a couple of balloons and a box.
Place the box at the far end of the room and have your guests stand approximately 10-15 foot away from the box. They have to try and kick the balloon into the box. Give each guest five tries to make a goal. Each goal made is worth one point. The person with the most points wins.
Outdoor Race:
Borrow cones from a soccer coach. Set up two rows of the cones placing the cones in each line about 3 foot from each other. Place the rows about 5 foot apart.
Divide the group into two teams. The first person in the line has to dribble the ball around the cones and back, they tag the next person in the line to start their dribbling. The team that can make it through the cones the fastest wins. If you don't want to hand out prizes, you could allow the winning team the chance to be first in line for the food.
Other Soccer Party Games
Soccer Party Favors:
Decorate bags with soccer stickers and fill each with erasers, stickers, small toys, pencils and bubbles. Hand these out at the end of the Soccer Party.
Give each guest a ticket or two to a local high school soccer game. They will enjoy watching the teams play.

Bug Juice:
Kool-aid or any other type of fruit juice is considered bug juice. You can spice up the kool-aid with some soda water or with some 7-up.
A Soccer Party cake will be easy to make with a cake mold from this great company:
Candyland Crafts They carry a wide variety of cake and candy making supplies. I love visiting their site to see what new items they have come up with.
Mini Soccer Ball Cakes:
Individually sized, so everyone at the Soccer Party can have their own sports treat. Ice & push together for a 3-D effect. One cake mix makes 20-24 balls.
Mini Soccer Cakes This mold is great as it can be used for more than just this soccer party. You can use it at Christmas for snowball cakes, wreath cakes, at Halloween for mini pumpkins, for clowns and any other sports parties.
Place your soccer cakes onto a field of grass. Dye shredded coconut with green food coloring and sprinkle it on the cake plate before placing the cake on it.
