Fun and Easy to Host Soccer Party Ideas

Gather some friends for a fun game of soccer and an afternoon of partying.
Make invitations by cutting soccer balls out of heavy white poster board. Use a teacup plate for a template. Print the party information on a self-stick name tag and adhere to the back of the card.
Use a black marker to color in sections of the ball.
Play a 15-20 minute game of soccer. Have all your guests participate and don't worry about lining up on the field correctly. Just start out on the correct side. Don't keep score, just have fun playing.
Die Hard Soccer Fans will want to form teams and play a real game with rules intact. There's nothing wrong with that. If you have a field close to you have the guests meet you there. Play the game and meet back at your house for a meal.
No field nearby? Lay a trashcan on it's side and have your guests try kicking the ball in. Use a small can for experienced players, larger can for the others. Give points for most goals scored. If the trashcan goal proves to be too easy, add a goalie. Blind-fold the goalie for even more fun!
Spain and Mexico pop into my mind when I first hear the word Soccer. So for this party I'm going to recommed trying some Mexican food. Mex-Recipes.com has some really great, not too spicy (unless you like it that way) mexican recipes.
