Scrapbooking Party

A Scrapbooking Party is a way to get photos organized while still spending quality time with friends

Crop till your drop party tableware contains some fun party supplies for your scrapbook party.

I had sticker shock when I saw what a lot of companies were charging for scrapbooking supplies. Then one day I ran across Oriental Trading Company Scrapbooking they offer a wide selection of supplies at non shocking prices.

Scrapbooking Party Invitations

You can easily make your own invitations using cardstock and stickers or die cuts. Cut sheets of colorful paper into 10" x 14" pieces and fold in half so you end up with a 5"x7" card. You can then adorn the cards with stickers and diecuts. Print the party information on the inside, including a list of things your guest should bring with them.

Supplies

If your budget allows it you might consider providing a plain colored scrapbook for each guest to use. You can ask them to bring a scrapbook and their photos but provide the paper, stickers, adornments and other tools needed.

At the end of the party you can give guests a bag filled with fun cropping tools, stickers and sample paper packs.

Activities

Have everyone bring pictures from one topic: sports pictures, family vacation pictures or Christmas pictures. With everyone working on the same theme pages it will be easier to decide what supplies to offer.
Plan on doing just two or three pages during the party.
Have samples of finished pages available for your guests to look at.

Food and Drinks

Serve snacks in an area away from the scrapbooking.
Finger sandwhiches, fancy cookies, or coffee cake are great if the party is in the afternoon.
If you planned on an all day scrapbooking party, provide a small lunch and have dinner delivered to you!
