Parade Party
A Parade Party that lets kids play music and march for fun
Patriotic Party Party Supplies a great way to decorate for this theme party.
Children love making music.
It seems like noise to most adults but to children it is something that they are learning for the very first time and to them its wonderful.
My granddaughter used to spend hours banging on pots and pans and now loves using the piano. She even makes up songs as she pounding away at the keys.
Parade Party Invitations:
The birthday invitations for this party would contain items that you would see in a parade:
firetrucks, parade floats, marching bands, and horses.
Use stickers to decorate card stock
Party Decorations:
Place cut outs of clowns and flags on your walls.
Make a drum as your table centerpiece. If you don't have a play drum, just use a round box or tape constuction paper into a tube shape and decorate it. Sprinkle small musical instruments around the drum as an added touch.

Parade Activities:
Make every guest a drum out of an oatmeal container or an old coffee can. Just paint the containers a solid color and decorate with stickers. Have everyone parade around banging on their drums, or just sit in a circle hitting the drums. Having everyone sitting in a circle is a great party starter as it encourages communication.
Make maracas from paper towel or gift wrap rolls and some beans. Just tape one end of the roll tightly add some beans and secure the other end. Decorate with construction paper or paint. Parade around shaking the maracas.
Give everyone a Newspaper hat and have a small Parade marching around your house.
Party Food and Drinks:
Parade Party Drum Cake:Take four round cakes and stack on top of each other to form a drum. Make the braiding with string licorice zigzagged around the outside.
Decorate cupcake cups like drums to make individual drums for each guests. You could even take the cupcakes out of the cups and frost the sides.
For Drinks use milk or juice in individual boxes.
