Supplies Needed
13x9 Inch Cake Pan
1 Box Cake Mix
1 Can Frosting
Green Food Coloring
1 Tube Black Gel Icing

Bake cake according to instructions on the box. Cool completely.
You can trim the bottom of the cake to form more of a chin area or you can leave it squared off.
Mix the green food coloring into the can of frosting.
Frost the cake with the green frosting.
Using the tube of black gel icing put hair along the top of the cake. Use an up and down zigzag pattern making the hair various lengths.
Put some hair along the side of the face.
Add eyes, nose and mouth using the black gel.

When getting ready to frost a cake that you have trimmed, put the cake into the freezer for a few minutes. This keeps the crumbs to a minimum.

For piping frosting use a plastic sandwhich baggie. Put frosting into the bag, twist the top closed, squeeze the frosting towards a bottom corner. Trim of a tiny piece of the corner and squeeze to dispense.

See how easy it was to make your Frankenstein Cake. The hardest part is getting the frosting to the right color of green.

Your frankenstein cake would look great surrounded by nuts and bolts (candy, pretzels and nuts mixed together in a bowl).
