Family Picnic

Summer time means Family Picnic time. Fire up the grill and lets get this party started.

picnic food

While eating is a great activity you will need a few games or crafts planned to keep family members busy while the food cooks.

Family Picnic Activities

Tug-of-war

All you need for this game is a long rope and an even number of participants. Divide the group into two teams. Mark a center line on the ground using a twig, tape or powdered chalk. Each member of the team grabs onto the ends of the rope and on the word "go" they try to pull the other team over the center line.

Sack Races

You will need a sack or pillowcase for each racer. Mark a starting line and about 50 yards away mark the finish line. You can race one on one or in larger groups. Each participant climbs into the sack and holds it up. On the word "go" they try to make it to the finish line first.

Corn Hole Game

If you have never heard of this game before, you are missing out on some good clean fun. Learn how to play Cornhole
