Quick and easy to make
Easter Crafts

The Easter Crafts shown here are easy to make and will keep your children busy while they are on Spring break.

Make a boxed bunny that can be used for a ring toss game.
Decorate some hollowed out Easter eggs or make an Easter Bunny hat.

Easter Bunny Hat:

Supplies needed:
paper plate, two long balloons pink or white, two pieces of ribbon or yarn.

Make two slits directly opposite each other and about 1" from the edge of the plate.
Inflate balloons and tie off the ends. Insert the knotted end of the balloons into the slits on the plate, the knots should be on the bottom of the plate.
Run the ribbons through the same slits except this time you are going to tie a knot at the top of the plate, closest to the balloon body.
Your hat is now ready to wear. You can tape the ribbon and knotted part of the balloons to the plate for more security.

Bunny Box Easter Crafts:

Supplies needed:
Box, wrapping paper, scissors, markers, 2 metal coat hangers, wire cutters, construction paper and tape.

Wrap a box with white wrapping paper.(I used the backside of Christmas paper) Make the face by drawing or painting the eyes, nose and mouth. You could also cut pieces of construction paper to use for the facial details.
Take the two metal coat hangers and pull the bottom outwards to form an oval shape. Cut off the hook end with the wire cutters.
Poke the sharp ends into the top of the box, these are the ear supports.

Cut two pieces of white construction paper in the shape of the ears (approx 12" long). Tape these securely to the metal hangers. You will want run tape from the back of the ears to the top of the box to really secure them into place.
Cut pink construction paper for the insides of the ears. Tape into place.

You can enjoy the box the way it is or turn it into a ring toss game. Cut the insides out of paper plates to form the rings for the toss game.

Easy Eggs Easter Crafts :

Egg decorating doesn't have to always be done with hard boiled eggs.

Weeks before Easter start saving your egg shells for Easter Crafts.
Shake a fresh egg to break the yolk. Use a needle to punch a hole into both ends of the eggs and blow out the contents. Rinse the shells under cool water to clear out any remaining yolk. You can use the egg whites and yolks for french toast or scrambled eggs.

Patchwork Egg Easter Crafts:
Use markers to color the egg in a patchwork pattern, outline the squares with a black marker so they stand out.

Spicy Fun Eggs:
Roll the egg in white glue and then roll in cinnamon or paprika.

Quick Wrap:
Wrap your egg in foil for a quick shiny look. Use gold foil or color your silver foil with yellow markers to make it golden looking!

Braided Egg:
Wrap the egg completely with yarn or embroidery thread. Wrapping can be a little tricky but it can be done with nice results if you take your time and glue the thread to the egg every few wraps.

Egg Friends:

Use blown out eggs to make a forest of friendly faces.

Here is an easter bunny that is made by just glueing small pieces of construction paper to him.

See what other fun animals you can create.

Easter crafts can be quick and fun.
