Gather up some fancy clothes, some mirrors and some of your daughters best friends and let the party begin.

Dress Up Party Invitations:

communion dress Send a paper doll set to the guests with the Dress Up Party information included.

Use construction paper to cut out the shapes of party hats, add some ribbon and the party information.

Remember Girls Just Want to Have FUN.
Jess is blowing a bubble before a party!

Dress Up Party Decorations:

Use pretty pink and purple balloons and streamers around the Dress Up Party area.

Make Up Table:
Make a Dress Up Party table that will sit 3-4 girls out of plywood and a couple of file cabinets or other sturdy boxes. Cover with a plastic tablecloth. Set the table near a wall so you can lean mirrors against the wall or add some free standing mirrors. Add some inexpensive make-up.

Walls:
Decorate the walls using pictures of models and fashionable clothing cut from fashion magazines.

Dress Up Party Activitites:

Coloring Fun:
Have coloring pages of fashion type items that the girls can color while waiting for all the party guests to arrive. Free Coloring Pages

Proper Make-Up techniques:
purple nails My granddaughters purple nails, her toe nails matched!

Have one of your friends that is great with applying make-up stop in to the party to demonstrate how to properly apply make-up. If the girls are older you can also go into the safe use of make-up; explaining not to share with others and the shelf-life of the products.

Fashion Find
Make a list for each girl that includes up to 15 items. Such as black high heels, tan purse, winter coat etc...
Give each girl one fashion magazine, the list, and some scissors. On the word "Go" everyone scours through their magazine to try and find as many items from the list as possible.

I'm late for my date race:
Two laundry baskets full of enough clothing that each girl will have one dress, one pair of shoes, one hat, one pair of gloves and one purse.
Divide girls into two teams. Line the baskets up on one end of the room and girls on the other. On the word "go" the first person in line has to run to the basket and Dress Up in an outfit with one of each item. When she is dressed-up, she runs back to the start and tags the next person. They continue until one team has everyone dressed.

Fashion Runway:
Your party girls can model all of the latest fashions on their very own runway!

Dress Up Party Favors:

Dress Up all the girls and have a party photo shoot. They will love taking the photos home with them.

Feather Boas make for a fun time. They can be used as party decorations and the girls will love flinging the ends of them over their shoulders!

Make some of your own Dress Up Party favor packs by buying little fabric purses and filling them with compacts, hand lotions, nail polish and other sample size cosmetics.

Dress Up Party Food and Drinks:

It would be fun for this party to have everyone eating while they are dressed-up. You could turn it into a tea/dress up party.

Cake Ideas:
Bake a regular sheet cake and frost with pink frosting. To decorate it, place sample sized lip gloss, mirrors and other make-up items into the frosting.
You could also do the same with cupcakes.

Pizza is always a favorite party food. Have a few delivered and place some cosmetic items onto it before serving.

Cookies:
Dress Up a table for a tea party atmosphere and serve fancy cookies.
Put punch into a tea pot and use tea cups.
