Darts Party

Score a Bullseye with a Darts Party

dart board
Throwing darts at the bullseye isn't as easy as it looks!
Heck getting any dart to stick on the dartboard or even hit the board is a challenge for me!

Make an invitation

to look like a dartboard cabinet. Cut strips of brown poster board 8-1/2" wide by 4-1/2" tall. Fold the ends in towards the center so they meet evenly without overlapping. Press the crease with your finger to make the fold lay flat. When you open those two flaps place a bullseye sticker (dartboard sticker) there and write your party information on the inside of the doors.

Locate a pub that has darts tournaments to see what night they are busiest. Plan your gathering for a night when they aren't very busy.

Hosting the game at home? Decide on a few new variations of the games. Set the stereo or television so it's out of harms way of a stray dart! Stock the cooler with cold drinks and you'll be ready to go.

How to throw a Dart has great tips on how to hold a dart and how to toss it. A fun diagram for visualizing the launch.

If you are hosting the party at your house, cook up some hearty snacks.
If you are at a bar or pub you can sometimes order pizza delivered in. Or plan to eat at your favorite casual diners.
