Tree Decorating Game
Supplies:
Scissors
Green poster board large
Yellow poster board small
Masking tape
10-12 pieces of different wrapped candies (per player)
Directions:
Cut a large Christmas tree shape from the green posterboard.
Cut a star from the yellow posterboard and tape it to the top of the tree.
Lay the tree flat on the floor.
Mark a line on the floor using the masking tape. Put the line about 5 feet away for small kids and further away for older kids and adults.
Hand each child their candies. Use flat candies for small children and rounded candies for older children. Each child playing should have a different type of candy. Example: one would have candy canes, one would have red disks another would have red and white mints etc...
Taking turns each child stands behind the line and tosses one of their candies onto the tree to decorate it.
If the candy lands completely on the tree, they get one point. If a candy gets knocked off the tree the point is taken away.
Child with the most points after all candies have been tossed wins.
