After Baby is Born
Hosting a shower after the baby is born is becoming more popular. This allows the parents to show off the new arrival to many people in one sitting. It eliminates many visitors popping in during those hectic first few weeks home.
It also allows guests to buy gender specific items for the baby.
Picking a Location
Having the party in your home will be easiest but will it be the best location?Do you have room to host the party?
Is your house easy to find?
Do you have plenty of parking areas?
Renting a hall for a couple of hours might be necessary.
Guest Lists
Invite family members and friends of the expectant parents.Co-ed parties are becoming popular but check with the parents to see how they feel about it. Most guys are still a little shy about attending a baby shower.
