Earn Your Wings

Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings.
Bell
Ribbon
12 corks
12-24 feathers
Hot glue gun

Poke a little hole into the small end of the cork.
Hot glue one or two feathers into the hole.

Hang the bell between two chairs using the ribbon.

Mark a line 8-10 feet from the bell.

Have the children toss 2 or 3 feathered corks to try and hit the bell. If they make the bell ring, they get their wings.
If they don't they can get back in line to try again.

Pin the halo on the angel.

Draw an angel on brown packaging paper or the back of gift wrapping paper.
Cut one yellow circle (halo) out for each child and write their names on it.
Put a loop of tape onto the backside of the halo.
Blindfold the child and see who can get the closest to giving the angel its halo.

Angel Christmas Party Craft

Angel Recipe Box

Recipe boxes plain
Wrapping paper with pictures of angels (or pictures from magazines)
Scissors
White Glue
Paint Brushes

Cut angels from the gift wrap or magazines, leaving a border around them.
Glue angels onto the outside of the recipe box.
Mix a little glue with water to brush over the outside of the box once all the pictures are glued onto it.

Christmas Party Treat Ideas

Angel Clouds

1 bag of cotton candy serves two children
2 small plates
Pull the cotton candy out of the bag and fluff it up to form clouds on the plates.

Singing Angel Cupcakes

Box of cake mix
Pink Frosting
Chocolate Gold Covered Coin (1 per cupcake)
Black Decorating gel
small paper doilies

Bake cupcakes according to directions on cake mix box.
Frost cupcakes with pink icing
Insert a foil covered coin (halo) into each cupcake so that it is at one edge.
Draw two eyes and a small oval mouth on the surface of the cupcake.
Cut the doilies in half and then cut each half into halves again. These are the angels wings. You can round off the edges a little. Place one wing on each side of the cupcake.
