An ABC Party
For a Stacking Good Time

Using bright primary colors and those wonderful building blocks to create an ABC Party is easy and fun.

Building blocks are fun for children to play with.

You can make your own blocks or buy wooden or plastic blocks for this party.

ABC Party Games

Competitive birthday games don't work well at toddler parties, try group activities instead:

Group Roll: This is a great party starter as it gets all parents together at the beginning of the party. Parents sit in a circle with child on their lap. Roll a ball from player to player. You can also use a party balloon.

Block Stack: Just stack various size boxes into a pile. Make some of the boxes so that they have both ends cut off so that the children can climb into and out of them. Provide crayons so the children can color on the boxes!

Sucker Draw: Take a small cardboard box and paint the outside to look like an ABC block. Spray paint makes the job quick and easy. This is a great party decoration and treat for an ABC Party.
Using Saf-T-Pops paint a dot on a few of them with a marker.
Make slits into the top of the box so that the suckers can slide into the cuts and the handle won't be visible.
Each child takes a sucker from the box, those that retrieve the ones with dots get a special favor. Each child keeps the sucker they pulled.
