Make Your Own ABC Birthday Party Supplies
Large ABC BlocksUse square appliance boxes and cover with solid colored wrapping paper. Cut out letters from construction paper or poster board and glue to two sides of the block. You can put pictures on the other two sides if you wish.
Styrofoam Puzzle
Sheets of styrofoam are inexpensive. Draw large letters on the foam. Carefully cut out each letter. Use clear tape to tape the edges of the letters so the foam doesn't keep falling off. Let your child paint the pieces with poster paint. When dry they can put the puzzle back together again.
ABC Cake
Bake two or three 8" square cakes. Frost each cake a bright color. Draw the letters ABC one per cake. Lay two cakes side by side and pull the top corners out while leaving the bottom inside corner touching. Lay the third cake on top the the two bottom cakes.
