The musical masterpiece Joy to the World is one of the best Christmas songs ever written. The melody is believed to have originated from Handel, although the song wasn't completely composed by him. Isaac Watts is credited with the words.
There is also a very popular non-Christmas song using the same title, it was sung by a group called 3 Dog Night.
