Clifford Birthday Party
A Clifford Birthday Party is fun for any dog lover.
I know, I know this isn't a picture of Clifford the Dog but I didn't have any of Clifford, so I painted this doggie red.

Clifford Birthday Invitations
Mail each guest a small dog toy along with the party information. Ask each guest to bring the toy to the party with them. When they arrive at the party have the toddlers place the toy into a gift wrapped box and donate it to the humane society.
Clifford Party Decorations
Inflate red balloons and draw paw prints all around them using markers.
Cut paw prints out of contact paper and place them on the floor leading to the party area.
Use a white cover, solid red plates and napkins for your birthday cake table.
Clifford Birthday Party Activities
Color a Clifford Dog House
Use large appliance boxes to create a dog house and provide the guests with crayons and markers to decorate it with.
Biscuit Toss:
You'll need several small dog biscuits per guest.
Place a dog bowl in the center of the room. Stand the toddlers a few feet from the bowl and have them toss the biscuits at the bowl. If a biscuit makes it into the bowl, give a sticker as a reward.
Clifford Crafts: Make Party Collars
You'll need:
- 5 yards of red ribbon
- 12 plastic paper clips
- 12 self-stick rectangular name tags
- hole punch
- scissors
- velcro
- black marker
Cut the ribbon into 15" strips. (one for each guest)
Find the center and punch a hole at that spot using the hold punch.
Fold name tag in half sticky sides together, cut into circle shapes.
Write each childs name on the tags.
Put the paper clip through the hole in the tag and the hold in the ribbon.
Put velcro on the ribbons and when children arrive you can put their collars on them and adjust to fit.
Party Food
Instead of a dog shaped Clifford birthday cake, bake a sheet cake and cut it into a dog biscuit shape. Frost with a tan colored frosting. Use raisins to write your toddlers' name across the middle of the cake.
